Registration – Voluntary Sector and Volunteering Research e-Conference 2020

Attendance at the ‘Times Like These’: Researching civil society responses to and recovery from COVID-19, VSVR 2020 e-conference is free. Registration, however, is essential. The conference will be hosted on zoom, and only those who are registered will receive details of the zoom meeting room ID and password. Registration will be for the e-conference as a whole, although you are welcome to dip in and out of session across the two days as you see fit.

VSSN and NCVO made the joint decision to make the conference free to attend through a desire to make it as accessible as possible in what are incredibly challenging times for many of our members and stakeholders. In times like these it is more important than ever that we work together to generate, share and utilise research evidence to help inform and learn from civil society responses to major crises. We hope that this event can make a contribution to those efforts. If finances are less of an issue for you, then we would encourage you to make a donation – either to a cause/charity of your own choosing (e.g. perhaps the National Emergencies Trust Appeal (https://donate.redcross.org.uk/appeal/national-emergencies-trust-coronavirus-appeal), or of course to either VSSN or NCVO!

Registration process

Please complete the short form below to register. On submission of the form you will receive email confirmation. In advance of the conference you will then receive another email with full details of the conference programme and how to access it.

Memberships

You do not need to be a member of any of the organisations to participate in the conference, but we would encourage you to consider becoming one! Details of how to become a member can be found here:

Intended session attendance

Registration is for the conference as a whole. You are free to dip in and dip out of sessions as you see fit. It would, however, be helpful for us to get a bit of a feel for likely numbers of participants in each of the sessions. By selecting the sessions that you are currently intending to attend, you are not committing or limiting yourself; but it will give us a useful guide. Please tick all that you currently anticipate attending:
