Registration – Voluntary Sector and Volunteering Research e-Conference 2020

Attendance at the ‘Times Like These’: Researching civil society responses to and recovery from COVID-19, VSVR 2020 e-conference is free. Registration, however, is essential. The conference will be hosted on zoom, and only those who are registered will receive details of the zoom meeting room ID and password. Registration will be for the e-conference as a whole, although you are welcome to dip in and out of session across the two days as you see fit.

Please note: those already registered will shortly receive joining instructions for the conference. Those still wishing to attend have until 16:00 Friday 4th September to register, after which we will send out the joining instructions for a second and final time.

VSSN and NCVO made the joint decision to make the conference free to attend through a desire to make it as accessible as possible in what are incredibly challenging times for many of our members and stakeholders. In times like these it is more important than ever that we work together to generate, share and utilise research evidence to help inform and learn from civil society responses to major crises. We hope that this event can make a contribution to those efforts. If finances are less of an issue for you, then we would encourage you to make a donation – either to a cause/charity of your own choosing (e.g. perhaps the National Emergencies Trust Appeal (https://donate.redcross.org.uk/appeal/national-emergencies-trust-coronavirus-appeal), or of course to either VSSN or NCVO!
