VSSN’s Spring 2016 Day Conference on ‘The future of voluntary action in unsettled times’ took place in Sheffield on May 19th. An overview is now available here. This includes slides from all the presentations including the key note from Pete Alcock which revisited the role of the third sector in constructing civil society.

The next day conference will be held on 19th May 2016 in Sheffield. The topic is ‘The Future of Voluntary Action in Unsettled Times’. The full programme, which includes a keynote paper from Pete Alcock, can be seen on our event page where you can also book to attend.
There is now a report from the recent Day Conference Campaigning and Advocacy: Has the voluntary sector lost its voice? Most of the presentations from the day are also available to view. Thanks to all the presenters and participants for making this an interesting and engaging day.
