Call for abstracts for the New Researchers' SessionJennifer Russell, Research Officer, Institute for Volunteering Research writes:-
Are you
relatively new to research on issues relating to the voluntary sector and/or
volunteering? Then
this session could be of interest to you. If you would like to present in this session please send an abstract of 200-400 words to Jennifer.russell@volunteeringengland.org by 20 April 2010. Presentations are typically 10 minutes long with a further 10 minutes for discussion. You need not discuss a completed project-work in progress or preliminary findings would be welcome. Papers on methodologies or issues faced carrying out research are also welcome. If your abstract is accepted into the session you will be notified by 30 April 2010. There is no need to submit a full paper when presenting in the New Researcher’s Session, although those who want to are encouraged to do so. Delegates attending only the New Researcher’s session of the conference may do so free of charge; just let us know that you are coming by emailing me on Jennifer.russell@volunteeringengland.org. All the latest information about the New Researcher’s session can be found on the New Researchers’ weblog. If you haven’t already used the site, it is a great way to connect with other new researchers, share information, post questions and respond to issues raised by others on voluntary sector research. It is really easy to sign up, visit the ‘join us’ pages. |
