'News-feeds' feature added to web site

A news feed page has been added to the VSSN web site as part of a 'mini-makeover' pending the new e-services strategy reported elsewhere.

Readers can now get instant news on key voluntary sector news updates without leaving vssn.org.uk. The news-feed page (accessible from anywhere on the site via the new menu option with that name) now provides access to RSS feeds from other key authorities in the field.

The above news comes alongside other announcements on VSSN's new e-services strategy and taken together these developments amount to a 'mini-makeover' to our ageing web side. We haven't yet implemented a web 2.0 upgrade but these changes move us a tad in that direction. Changes to the 'About', 'Contacts', and other pages have also been made.
