Prof. Morgan spirited into webchat

Following the inaugural professorial lecture of founder VSSN member and recent-ex-Treasurer Gareth Morgan, the spirit of charity is now featuring live on the web. Gareth wrote:-

"It was great to see a good number of VSSN members and friends last Thursday 3 April when I presented my inaugural professorial lecture at Sheffield Hallam University entitled "The Spirit of Charity".

Several VSSN members sent apologies but asked if a written version would be available. This is now published on the SHU CVSR website and can be downloaded (PDF 17 pages) from http://www.shu.ac.uk/research/cvsr/events.html

You will see the University has also arranged for me to do a "webchat" to allow those who could not be there on the day to join in the discussion.  This will be at 11.00-12.00 UK time on Tuesday 15 April - details from the address above."

Gareth's spirit also lives on in VSSN: his considerable dedication and constitutional expertise will again feature at a VSSN Special General Meeting soon, thanks to the help he's provided to the Steering Group in developing a constitutional amendment proposal - details will follow via our news and events pages.
