Successful BLF bid

We are continuing to make good progress towards launching a new academic journal. Our bid to the Big Lottery Fund for £5,000 towards development costs has been successful, and this will reduce the financial risk to the publisher and help towards a well-resourced launch.

The publisher that has been very encouraging towards our proposal, and has given us a lot of help in developing it, has now sent it out for review, a process which will take eight weeks. Provided the reviewers encourage the publisher to go ahead, in due course we will provide further information and undertake a consultation with VSSN members about the election of the Editorial Board.
