Our day conferences are core to VSSN's work and our most popular activities. They run twice yearly at rotating venues and are hosted by leading VSSN members. A successful and popular programme of papers is invariably featured, frequently featuring a topical theme in sector research. Reduced rate attendance is available to members (see benefits of membership). Abstracts, and sometimes fully papers, are published in this section of our website together with conference reports.
VSSN's other academic headline event is the annual "Researching the Voluntary Sector" conference, which we have run in partnership with NCVO's Research Team since 2004.
Our business meetings are the focus for the good governance of VSSN. Annual General Meetings usually take place during the November/December Day Conference, supplemented by Special General Meetings where necessary.
