Description of course 1) Final year dissertation project, involving applied social research with and for an external voluntary sector organisation
2) Final year dissertation project, involving placement with an external voluntary sector organisation
3) Second year module focusing on management and organisation of non-profit organisations with volunteer placement
4) First year module focusing on reflective learning through volunteer placement with a voluntary sector organisation

Together these modules provide a pathway in experiential learning around social policy and the voluntary sector, with the possibility of engaging in real life research of value to the sector.
