Description:The programme has been running for seven years and was developed to contribute to the future leadership and management of the voluntary sector. It aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for these roles.
It is aimed at recent graduates who want to make a career in the sector, at people already working in the sector who wish to develop their management potential, and at those who want to transfer from other sectors to work in a voluntary or not-for-profit organisation.
The course runs two days a week over one year for full time students plus two days placement in a voluntary organisation. For part-time students (usually those already working in the sector) the course is one day per week over two years.

Special features
For those students with no work experience of the voluntary sector the full-time programme includes two days a week of work in a voluntary organisation.
