  • Description: This course enables students to evaluate complex public administration contexts in which voluntary and statutory organisations work towards the ideal of providing holistic and joined up solutions to contemporary social problems. Public participation and user involvement are at the core of the course philosophy. Students develop autonomous, critical and evaluative reflection of their practice, through the application of knowledge and skills that will enable them to function effectively in the changing political and social context. The course has recently been fully reviewed in partnership with the Sussex-based 'Working Together' project and the university’s award winning Community University Partnership Programme (CUPP).
