Description of course |
This course enables students to evaluate complex public and voluntary
service practice where consideration is given to holistic and joined up
solutions to social problems. Public participation and user involvement
is at the core of the course philosophy. Students develop autonomous,
critical and evaluative reflection of their practice, through the
application of knowledge and skills that will enable them to function
effectively in the changing political and social context. The course has
recently been fully reviewed in partnership with the Sussex-based
'Working Together' project and the Community University Partnership
Programme (CUPP). |
